Adjusting bow
How it should be:
- First the ATA, base and synchronization should to be adjusted. Synchronization is one of the most important parameters. When a bow is desynchronized for 1 mm (taut), during the shot, one block finishes its work at a time when the second is only two thirds of the way. It is clear that this leads to an uneven release of the arrow. (In the professional circles there is a perception that the departure is not important the arrival is most important (the hit). This happens not because of the incompetence of these but because the laws of physics are still there.)
- Secondly, nest and a shelf must be set at "zero" point. On most bows, the center slot is perpendicular to the center of the hole mounting flange. For others, the center of the nest is above.
- The next step is an arrows selection. Bow is attached to the special machine and produces the paper test (shooting through a paper). Shots are made with arrows of different stiffnesses. At a suitable stiffness departure is completely smooth.
- After arrows are selected, the final fit takes place. It is important to understand that the grip is individual for each person, the final adjustment is made to suit the hand to the arrow shelf.
Unfortunately, in most cases bows are selected according to arrows you have. This is understandable, where to get so many sets of arrows ..? In our service center we will select the right arrow and adjust your bow.
